I started a Data Analytics degree at SNHU this year. I'm halfway through my fourth class, but I'm getting very frustrated with this particular class - either nothing is explained for the assignments, and I have to figure out what I'm supposed to do, or it feels far too easy, and I'm not learning anything. I've been wanting to do this degree for a long time because I want to make a career change, and I also get some tuition reimbursement from my job, which makes this possible. I already have one useless degree (BA in Art Studio), I don't want to rush through this and end up with a second one, but I am older, so I don't have a ton of extra time to slowly work through multiple courses and then lose my chance to change careers.
I took a few courses on Sophia prior to starting this degree, and I really liked being able to power through a course quickly, so I thought SNHU would be good (and the price is great, of course), but now I think maybe I need a little more structure and courses that are a little more challenging? I've looked into WGU, but as much as the unstructured format (and potential savings) appeal to me, I think it might not be the best one to consider.
I talked to someone at Purdue Global today, and it seems like they have a really good program, but its a lot more expensive, and I don't want to go into debt, so it would probably take a much longer time to finish the degree. I was also going to contact ASU as well. Not sure if there's any other schools I should be considering? Or if I'm overreacting?

Did you transfer the maximum amount of credits into this program? You can transfer up to 90 credits even after enrolling at SNHU.
One of the advantages of this degree is that once you complete the general education requirements, you only need a couple of the easier Google certificates and a few Sophia courses to finish the program.

Many students choose a more general degree, such as IT or Computer Science, and then specialize later through certificates. But an any IT degree still gives you plenty of flexibility. You can always pivot into other fields by earning additional certifications.
Degrees: BA Comp Sci; BS Business Admin (CIS); AS Nat Sci & Math — TESU (4.0 GPA)
Certs: Google (IT Support, Digital Marketing, Proj Mgmt); W3Schools PHP

PUG ExcelTrack and WGU are both CBE programs so they're not really structured. You will have like one final due date but not much else. Hardly any communication with instructors. SNHU has much more structure with weekly due dates and an instructor for each course.
This "either nothing is explained for the assignments, and I have to figure out what I'm supposed to do, or it feels far too easy, and I'm not learning anything." is something pretty much every single college student feels. Critical thinking is a learned skill. When something is easy, accept it and move on. You're not going to learn something in every single lesson.
There is no perfect college experience. It's a series of ups and downs for everyone. It sounds like your employer is paying for part of the program for you. Enjoy it! Let them foot the bill and learn what you can. You're not going to graduate as a world renowned expert. No one does. Well, except the whackadoos who claim to have earned 124 bachelor's degrees from diploma mills that they own.

you could also consider a math degree -- but that means calculus 1, 2 an 3
you could do an associates in math/natural sciences at TESU to get started -- I think that's just calculus 1 and 15 elective math credits
do calc 1, a couple of statistics courses, precalc, maybe geometry, algebra, discrete math, linear algebra from study.com
throw in a few ibm and google data science certificates from coursera and you've got a decent basic understanding of data analysis and an associates that can transfer into a bachelors later on
the associates at tesu is kind of expensive, but if you're job is paying for it .... then ok

Great intro post, but we don't have the full picture, I usually get people to fill in the addendum and template, in addition to what you've entered in. It's unclear if you tried to max your transfers first before you started SNHU, at this point in time, I would provide more details asked for here, and review your options:
