I have not, but wanted to mention that LIB-342 is probably a free elective, and would not count towards the UL requirements for a BALS.

If you are right, I need to figure it out before registration for December is over. I pulled it off of the link and instructions from an email from a counselor, which read:
Quote:Here is how you find options for the Liberal Studies General Coursework section:
It was listed under section C, Social Science.

Just looked and LIB is for Liberal Arts! So obviously it will work, and I was wrong. Sorry about that. (I think I was mixing up LIB with LIS. The Info Lit course from SDC came in as LIS-102, and was a free elective).

I’ve found that a huge part of the help on this forum is exactly that. “I’m not sure, but you may want to look into this” because some of the stuff we’re doing here is uncharted (or semicharted).

I'm still a bit confused why you're going for a TESU BALS degree when you just completed your Excelsior BS Nuclear Engineering Tech. Would you rather get a second bachelor's in liberal arts versus going for a Masters? If there is some concentration or AOS in the BALS, that might be a good idea, but just a generic BALS doesn't add too much, for the same cost or so, you can get the MAOL at UMPI for about $4K if you finish in two sessions...

You're going to be using these for residency credits, correct? You don't have to get the UL unless you're needing those 18 UL and wanting this to take that place. It's too much work to have so many courses, I believe it may be better to tackle some easy e-packs in addition to courses. You can also review the following WIKI and this thread for another option to taking the credits.

Using to meet the 16, and utilize financial aide. 2 of them have to be upper level humanities (humanities focus), and the other 2 just have to be 200 or above liberal studies, but those 2 were the ones she found interesting with her background. Do epacks count towards semester credits for financial aide?
Darn it! E-pack doesn’t count towards financial aide. ?

By itself, you're right, it won't be used for financial aid purposes, but if you're using the flat rate tuition, you're golden! You just need 12 credits to be full time, you're going to do 16 credits maximum for the flat rate tuition, so 3 credits through e-packs would not be counted, technically, anything over 9 credits won't be counted so you can use two e-packs... basically, to keep things simple, 1 epack, 4 courses, PLA 100 or another 1 credit course would be your perfect option!
