Hey all, for those who have completed a BA Math, where do you get your Upper Level Math Classes from?
I'm thinking of changing the Biology to Math now as I am lagging behind schedule for Biology graduation.
Having a Math Degree would be a good option rather than just stalling on the Biology courses.
I'm done with the Comp Sci, just need to gather my math courses...
I've already got Calculus I & II from StraighterLine done
Also have the Discrete Math & Geometry, from Study.com
Is the Coopersmith Math 301 Concepts in Math & Quantitative Analysis still UL at TESU or has that been downgraded?
I am working on the Coopersmith Math 305 Linear Algebra course right now as that is UL still with TESU.
I am looking at UL options for now as I think the lower level I have them covered already.

The list I was given:
Westcott Courses (transcripted on Brandman, RA credit)
Calc III $544
Linear Algebra $569
Abstract Algebra $973 (UL)
West Texas A&M Self-Paced ($699/course)
MATH3340: Calculus III
MATH 3342: Differential Equations
Concepts in Math at Coopersmith says that it's UL credit but I don't know if TESU takes it as such. I also considered taking History of Math at TESU.
Personally, I don't know if I'm still going to add a math AOS to my CS degree. I might. But I'm also feeling antsy and just kind of wanting to graduate.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I think I gave you that info.
There's also Statistics.com courses for less than $600/course. Almost all UL.
And AMU/APU has a bunch of UL math courses for less than $900/course.

There's another thread here from the past week where OP is trying to get a math degree and TESU says that the Statistics.com courses won't work as math options. They're only for data science. For some reason.

I wonder if they asked about specific courses, or just the ones TESU knows about? Because there are a few that are listed in the Statistics area rather than Data Science:
Matrix Algebra (not UL though - but specifically listed on the list of courses they will take)
Biostatistics (UL)
Survival Analysis (GRAD)
Regression (GRAD)
Cluster Analysis (UL)
Categorical Data (UL)

Currently taking Calc 3 at TESU and happy that Prof Leonard is around. Maybe it's just me, but TESU math classes are sadly lacking. My advisor confirmed that many of the stats classes at APUS are UL. If you can take grad school classes, then those will come in as UL also. Some of the coursework at Eastern University for the MSDS will likely be UL.
How was the Discrete Math at SDC?

Contemplating Calc 3 @ TESU for GPA as well, how was your experience? Was it easy to get a good GPA out of it?
Completed TESU BA in CS & Math
Target grad school: OMSCS, or UoTA MOCSO. (Contemplating research)
