I just received an email that reads (with a link to join):
"We are Angela and Rachel and we’re excited to invite you to join a special Facebook group to help guide and inspire you through your Walden Tempo Learning - Master of Business Administration experience.
You’ll be joined by fellow new students and together we’ll make sure your experience as a new student sets you up to succeed. We’ll share tips and pointers, but most importantly, you’ll be able to meet your classmates, share goals, ask questions and really experience how amazing Walden's Tempo Learning - Master of Business Administration community is."
So it appears they have some social networking available for students - that is a good thing to know.

Ideas - I actually took a look myself and it doesn't look like it would require another capstone because the capstone courses are the same course code... so it's just 3 more classes for the second MBA.

I'm likely to switch to an MBA if that's true. Is it confirmed that you can get two different MBAs from them?
They still don't have me enrolled, and it's been 48 hours.

Why would one get a 2nd MBA? I could understand if you were an international student but it would be best to get a graduate certificate. What do you put after your name? Joe Blow, MBA, MBA?

Just signed up, although I do not like business courses at all - I can't turn down a free lunch and I should be able to transfer them out to my eventual home institution.

Nah, for me, if I get a double concentration, it'll be something like this:
Bryan Cheung, MBA Healthcare & Project Management

But would a double concentration be considered 2 MBA’s?

Yep, like this. Or if there's no space, then just Ideas, MBA, ETC, ETC, ETC I don't care if they know about the two MBAs.

Yes, if you graduated with one MBA and the school allowed you to enroll a second time for a second MBA.
No if it's just two concentrations that someone graduated with at the same time.

I'm guessing that Walden will offer this in the future.

This, exactly!
Yes, it's simply a double concentration and the reason someone would do this is because in some cases it is actually cheaper. For example, most of these social entrepreneurship graduate certificates are at least $15k. However, if I do the competency based MBA then I only need three more classes to get the social entrepreneurship & innovation MBA, which is 9 credits at a current tuition rate of $955/cr plus $200/semester technology fee comes to $8,795... which isn't even half the price of most of the graduate certificates in this field.
I have learned over the years that the support of people here on DegreeForum makes a huge difference in my success, especially because there are a number of you whose opinions I have really come to trust... especially you, Sanatone - so come Monday I am following your lead and signing up for the MBA in healthcare administration!
I am pretty excited... this feels like a holiday gift to myself!
