My stepdaughter is due to start the MS in Early Childhood Studies TEMPO program at Walden University on Monday, January 6. Her enrollment counselor told her that if she became a member of NAEYC, she would get 50% off tuition for the program. Due to this discount, the program is only 1895.00 USD per TEMPO term (12 weeks). This means that if a person accelerates quickly, they could potentionally early this Masters degree for only 1895.00 USD. Below is a link to the program:

And here is the link to NAEYC's website:

**My stepdaughter did state that it will take a few weeks for the discount to be applied to your tuition account, as her enrollment counselor stated the discount is applied manually and after Walden verifies that you have joined NAEYC. And if you are enrolling and are not offered the discount, remind your enrollment counselor.**

Wow, that's an awesome deal! $30 will yield half price for those who are going for the MS Early Childhood Studies, they've got two concentrations to select from as well. Interesting find!

Yes, it does. I am assuming it should be for the Bachelors programs and some other Masters level degree programs. For the MS Early Childhood Studies, the 50% might only apply to that specific degree. Someone who has the inclination to apply and get into the program should clarify.

I will see if I can get a screen shot of her tuition charges to post later. Her Walden enrollment counselor was the one who told her about the discount for the program.

That’s ok. I was just trying to locate more info but the link on NAEYC’s site is broken. I did try a google search for “Walden Partners” and was able to find it that way. The 50% is specifically for the TEMPO learning format. Here’s more info if anyone else is curious. https://www.waldenu.edu/partners/naeyc
You can search for other partners, but I couldn’t find a list. You would have to know something to search for. https://www.waldenu.edu/partners/partner-finder

Wow, that's great. That link shows it's available for both the BS and MS on the Tempo platform! If that's the case, this can rival UMPI BLS with Educational Studies Minor for about the same cost, so instead of a minor, you get a degree major! If I wanted an education pathway, I would still go for UMPI BLS with the minor first and ladder into this MS program instead...
