Free Spanish language college degrees UNAM SUAYED

I am sharing yet another post featuring a Mexican public university offering online college degrees. The UNAM is a highly prestigious university that is famous for its practically free in person degrees (students only pay 1 penny as a symbolic payment).
Their online university has been operating for quite a few years and has increased popularity after expanding their degree offerings. Unlike the other schools, this one is 100% free (at least for Mexican citizens).
The cons however are that tons of people try to sign up (slots are limited), sign ups are only once a year, you cannot accelerate the degrees at all and people have complained that their Comp Science degree has some outdated information and the workload and essays absorb huge amounts of time, which makes it a difficult option for people working full time. People have also mentioned there are obligatory synchronized classes in varying schedules.

Some degrees are offered on specific regional branches. Applicants are encouraged to ask for more info because some degrees demand students to physically travel to the school's branch for exams. I am not sure if they do proctored online exams, might have to ask around.

What is the actual university?

Is it accredited in the UK, Australia or USA?

I was having a brief look and seem interested in the library science masters; it doesn’t really specify what the award is (MSc, MBA etc.) - do you know?

UNAM is a 400 top world university. Lots of people consider it the best in Latin America. Their degrees will certainly be RA. I have taken some courses in their online school and enjoyed them. The masters degrees will likely be very rigorous.

I am briefly looking at the 2025 convocatoria. They are opening signups January 24-Feb 4 2025 for the July session. I also notice they added a requirement where a preselected candidate must physically travel to Mexico City for a written online exam. Must be a new requirement to weed dual citizens living abroad to prioritize domestic students.

Looking at the website, they added a new PhD in Biology. Also a PhD in Music but the music one has no info. I notice the Library Masters has no info on the suayed page. I found this info on another UNAM page, seems outdated but it might help orient you:

There are plenty of comments about the SUAYED online university on other social media websites. These degrees are aimed at Spanish speakers. From my experience, you will need at least a B2 level Spanish. Expect a lot of zoom classes. Lots of people mention these degrees tend to have tons of homework and it might be an uphill battle to accelerate. Good luck!

For those who have a grasp of the Spanish language, this is a viable option as it may most likely come in as RA equivalent... For the rest of us who aren't up to par on Spanish, you may want to look elsewhere or get some extra classes in the Spanish language until you get up to par with an acceptable level in the language before you being your studies...

Only in Spanish as it's geared for the population in Mexico... Those Teaching X as foreign languages look really good!
