Hello everyone,
I am new to Degree Forum and plan on attending Excelsior University for their Bachelor of Science in Business (General Concentration). I currently work full time and I am looking for ways to complete this Degree Program the quickest and cheapest. I have transferred in 31 credits and have to do the remaining 89. I am planning on using external sources like Study.Com, Sophia.Org, StraighterLine, Saylor.org, CLEP, etc. for the 82 out of 89 credits.
Please share your experience/tips in order to my complete my degree in the quickest and cheapest manner.
Thank you for your help,
NewStudent101

This is a little like saying "I've decided to cook a large meal and I've already purchased some ingredients. What else do I need to buy?"
Without knowing what you already have, and from where, it's impossible to assist.
In progress:

Unless you can pass CLEP exams without studying, I think it's easier to earn credit on Sophia, Study, Coopersmith, etc.

The things you MUST take:
ENG-102: Business Writing (Coopersmith)
MAT-303: Quantitative Analysis (Coopersmith)
An Ethics course, and they prefer but don't require Business Ethics (although I'd take that just in case, possibly UL although not sure if that's required either)
Microeconomics
College Algebra
Business Stats (not sure if they will accept regular Stats for this requirement, in which case you can take BUS 212: Business Statistics from SDC
BUS 307: Leadership and Organizational Behavior (Study.com UL)
FIN 301: Corporate Finance (Study.com UL)
BUS 308: Globalization and International Management (Study.com UL)
Davar also has some UL courses that might work instead of Study.com:
MAN-310: Organizational Behavior
MAN-330: International Management
FIN-301: Intro to Finance or FIN-401: Corporate Finance
PHI-370: Business Ethics
Then, lots of options for everything else
1 Humanities course
1 SocSci/History course
1 NatSci course
16cr of Arts & Sciences (so 5 courses plus a 1cr course if you can find one)
Financial Acctg
Managerial Acctg
Business Law
Marketing
4 UL Business electives
1 LL Business elective
1 LL free elective

@NewStudent101, Excelsior is a good option for your BSBA degree, have you looked at other options such as TESU or UMPI? Can you take some time to complete the template and last post addendum here so we can get a feel of your budget, commitments, etc. Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
I agree with the Sophia.org/Study.com combo, in addition to the Coopersmith that was mentioned, you may check out some more ACE or NCCRS offerings that can provide you inexpensive credits, lower or upper level, such as from Onlinedegree.com and LawShelf.com or something along those lines... You should create a spreadsheet to reference/track your courses and progress.
