Exam facts.
1. They are not proctored. There has been a lot of people asking UMPI about it, so they might become proctor. If you don't want a proctor, don't ask.
2. UMPI's exams are based on the honor system.
3. The adaptive quizzes are usually in the same course as an exam. The quizzes are almost the entire test bank. I suggest skipping them until they start repeating themselves, and copy them into Word. This will allow you to have an entire test bank to study from.
4. The final exam is 95% of the questions from the adaptive quizzes, just reworded, with, near identical answers.
5. Some courses (like math) has 37 questions, others have 50, others have 80. The highest I've seen was Business Law II. Most are around 65-85.

I can confirm that BUS 244 is 100 questions, I just completed it today. I do wish I would have made a test question bank like you suggested, because it seemed to me that some questions were more "rare", like you would have to incorrectly answer a question surrounding a particular concept once or twice before seeing a possible "third" related question during the adaptives. I still ended up with a 90%, almost every question I missed was one I had not specifically seen before, which would have been mitigated by the test bank strategy.

I do have a specific grading question for you though (as the resident expert), because a 90% is an A-, but still says "mastered" in the results, should I expect a 4.0 or a 3.7?

Honestly, you're going to have to do "assignments" and most will have some presentation or writing required.  It's great you're trying to focus on exams for your undergrad, but I suggest at least taking some courses that will help you with presentation and writing for your future studies.  Don't rush or worry, embrace the challenge, and work at "Your Pace".

I know that lol I've completed 15 classes with assignments already just wanted to switch it up..

Based on your experience, how did a 90% / 94% land as a grade? My sister scored a 90% on an exam, and I scored a 94% and we figured it would be an A but this mention of A- is interesting.

What has been the lowest grade to receive an A-/A still? 87/88/89%?

I never received a 90 or lower on an exam. I think a 94 was my lowest score. The final grade all depends on the professor.

Cool...So far, that is the same for me; I knew there was some leeway from the professors on grades, but hopefully, that won't even matter if I keep the current score average.
