::freaks:: That's my next test! What material did you use beside InstantCert and how long did you study for it? I'm using the REA guide, IC, and SparkNotes.

Well, I used the Passyourclass guide and IC mainly, with Wikipedia to fill in some holes and firm up some definitions for me. I studied somewhat passively for about a week, then I studied really hard (5 hours per day) for 3 days before the test.
Per most of the other people who took it, IC was more than enough to pass, but I think I just got a version of the test that was different.
I'm sorry to freak you out!!! Most of the other people seemed to sail through the test with just IC, but I just think I got a different version!
GOOD LUCK!!

Hm, I've never heard of passyourclass - is there a website or is it just a book? I'm studying 5 hours a day for about two weeks, and just started Monday. That should be enough...
haha, you didn't freak me out that much. I really am feeling pretty good about it, but it is nice to know that I shouldn't spend an obsessive amount of time on the flash cards here.
Thanks very much!

Passyourclass.com is a website offering study guides for CLEPs and stuff, but they are EXPENSIVE!!
PM me if you want the study materials (for free) that someone else on this forum sent me. They didn't help me much, but like I said, I think I just got a whacky version, and they may help you!

Congrats! Not to get too off topic, but would you consider sharing your Chem exam experience with us in the exam feedback section? There aren't many reviews of this exam, as it is very difficult and not many have taken it.
Ok, toughest exam to date was...Western Civ I. 4,000 years of history was a lot to take in!

Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union. Holy...ok,,I dont' sware but this test made me want to.
I thought I prepared adequately. Instantcert, various Dvd's on the Russian Tsar's plus Dvd's on Lenin, Stalin, and Trotsky and a separate dvd on the Russian Revolution,, Face of a Nation book recommended by another member on here, lectures about the History of Russia..
And I never felt so unprepared! I've taken many tests thus far...History of the Soviet Union..
Since it's a paper and pencil test I have to wait a few weeks to get my results. Even if I passed...I will still put this down as my hardest test thus far!
Easiest- ECE World Population
I read the book and found I really loved the subject matter. Who would have thought? Plus the test just seemed pretty straight forward. I breezed through a used textbook I bought. Easy, easy test.

I think my hardest was the Modern Europe Since 1945. IC didn't have flashcards available when I took it and I had to make my own and read a couple of Big Fat Books and study oodles of stuff online. Gack. And the worst part was that I had to take the paper version of the test, since my testing center's computers were down. So I was on pins and needles for a few weeks about it. It was the last test I needed for my degree and if I flunked it I would have had to take an online class instead and delay graduation for several months.
Thankfully I passed with a 60 but it wasn't easy. The questions were tough. Don't take that test unless you have to.
