ENEB Master Thread

The double master booklet states that its a 72 ECTS program, so I think its considered a single program, I also saw that there is an option in ENEB marketplace for issuing a Special Certificate, may be this can be used to ask for issuing a separate master diploma for each program…???

That's not it. The special certificate is stuff like the NLP Diploma or Business Spanish diploma, which are not degrees. The ordering of the degrees is a strict and set process with predefined options.

By 72 ECTS they mean your double masters will be, together, roughly 72 unique ECTS as typically at least half of the credits transfer into the other degree. It doesn't automatically mean you get one 72 ECTS diploma. I signed up for a double Masters last year and they gave me two separate diplomas for them instead of one combined one but they took the MBA as the default one and listed almost every course on the other half of the double Masters as having been done via transfer credit (I wish they hadn't done that, the MBA isn't even the one I finished first). I think whether you get one or two diplomas for the double Masters is just a "wait and see" thing.

My question to ENEB: 

Please confirm that these will be graded as two separate programs and that I will be getting two separate diplomas for these.

Response received from ENEB: 

No, both masters will be credited on one certificate. It will be one diploma that will title as Master in Financial Markets and Asset Management + AI for Business.

They need to say this on their website and adverts. This is not what we expected when we bought their programs

Unfortunately it is stated on their website. When I read this I realised that it was a change to what they had done in the past and to what I was expecting. That's why I asked the question. 

This is what is listed on their website under the Master in Financial Markets and Asset Management + Master in AI for Business:

Three diplomas:

• Master in Financial Markets and Asset Management + Master in AI for Business
  
• Business Spanish Program Certificate (optional)
  
• Diploma of Specialization in Innovation and Project Management

I'm in Denmark now, looking to either go to Germany or back to Japan so I think I'll be okay. Looks like Germany is more favorable to Isabel than to TESU according to the anabin database lol. I don't see myself going to North America any time soon, but if I did I'd probably try Quebec and go for another passport.

Hej, I'm from Sweden and have also lived in Japan. Please update us if/when you find a use for your ENEB degree in Denmark or Japan. I just checked out job ads in Sweden for Business topics and they are saying stuff like wanting 180 högskolepoäng in the subject, which is too little for what ENEB gives. In contrast I have seen job ads for Japan and the USA which will take any level of degree (even an Associate's) in lieu of work experience.

When asking them via E-Mail, they always reply with “We have no information” or “We currently do not offer any degrees beside Isabel I”. 

Did anyone else try as well? When do you think they will make something available. It has almost been half a year since they published these alliances on their website.

Most of their so-called alliances are just out-links. There is no real partnership. I don't see text on their English page saying you can get any sort of diploma from UTN or UESS so I don't know where you got that information from. All I see is that you can get certificates from Isabel (from their main course pages) and IEAD (from Black Friday). Are you looking at the Spanish page?

It hasn't stopped. They'll Email you a few months after you register for a course, saying you can get the exam option. Alternatively you can wait until another sale like Chinese New Year or Black Friday and purchase it separately then.

Realistically how fast can I get a double masters done?

If you want to thoroughly know the material, I would say a couple months for each master. If you want to just do the bare minimum it takes to pass, and also pass by exam or by one single final project, then a couple weeks (but you'd have to wait for the exams/final project to open). Either way you're probably looking at at least 6 months before they'll issue the diplomas.

Realistically how fast can I get a double masters done?

Two things:

I'm not sure if this offer allows for either the traditional "Essay" route, or the "Testing" option.

I'll answer based on my own experience. 

I have 4 Masters from ENEB [though I signed up for 5, and still working on the last one]. I took the Traditional Route of writing all the Final Essays. When I started with the MBA+Master of Business & Corporate Communication back in Jan 2022, I completed all 19 modules in 15 months. Some months I doubled up and other months I did one Module. I have heard of others who've completed the Double Masters in 9 months! 

So, it's entirely up to you. You can go as fast or as slow as you'd like. Just be mindful of this one thing. The grading has become a bit more stringent. They have a very detailed grading system now, where you will get a detailed grade report. It's been a bit difficult to get a 9.5, and even harder to get a 10. Most grades are now closer to a 7.5 - 8.5. Still a good grade, but that also may pose an issue for those who want a higher grade. You get two chances to submit your Final Paper, and if you resubmit for a potentially higher grade, ENEB will charge you a fee.

I was told by ENEB that typically people commit 6 hours per week to finish in 18 months. I’m committing full time, 50 hours. At the moment I’m on my first module, reading through the content and taking notes etc.

Based on my progress I feel I can do the writing requirement for each subject every 2 to 4 weeks. Is that too fast? Is there a limit?
