While perusing TESU's ""what if" module I notice they no longer have the ASNM for Biology, Math, and computer science. They are all AS degrees now. It was a weird change lol.

It looks like the catalog has also been updated so it's an AS in Biology, Math, or Computer Science: https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/en/Curre...athematics

I think that's a good change because AS is more recognizable and legit sounding, no one has ever heard of "ASNM"

What does ASNM stand for? I've not seen it anywhere else.

Associate in Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics
Weird. Most schools would just say AS and then whatever the area of focus is. I have 2 associate degrees including an AS. Both schools always just referred to them as AS, AA, AOS, or AAS.

It looks like the requirements are still the same.
If you had a Computer Science degree, to get an Associate in Mathematics, all you need is the College Math CLEP.

This is good. Associate in Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Mathematics (for example) was dumb, a mouthful, and redundant.

The major (area of study) was natural sciences and mathematics, and the concentration was biology, math, or computer science. It didn't make sense since the degree doesn't have a general natural science and mathematics curriculum. I'm stuck with the long, unnecessary name.

Yeah, the ASNSM was a lengthy name. I wonder if we can change that now it's been modified... or ask to have it changed...
