Haha, made you look! Happy April fools day everyone!
There is some truth to the latter one though, UMPI does accept NA colleges that have articulations or evaluations already in place.
I verified this by viewing their Official Transfer Course Equivalencies database https://peportal.maine.edu/
By randomly selecting 5 quick ones off the bat, I verified Ashworth, Columbia Southern, Full Sail, Grantham, and Penn Foster made the list.
I am certain other Nationally Accredited institutions should work as they can process these on a case by case basis.

Something to keep in mind is that the database shows how courses have transferred in the past and is not necessarily what's current. We've seen that with a few Sophia classes recently.

I find this interesting. Full Sail is making huge strides in healthcare right now.

This database isn't 100% accurate?
https://peportal.maine.edu/
Didn't we have someone report that Intro to Meteorology wasn't accepted as a lab science? It is also listed twice as 2 different course numbers, one of which doesn't exist.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

No. That's more for the entire University of Maine system. YourPace is usually a bit more friendly than that database.

It's never been 100% accurate. It says right on it that it shows past acceptance. Things change. UMPI has reevaluated a lot of ACE courses over the last year. Meteorology is not accepted as a lab science. It is accepted as a science and fills GEC 3D. For all we know someone had a 1 credit lab from somewhere in Meteorology and that's why it was accepted as a lab science. You don't see the full picture with the database. This is why I say over and over to keep in mind that this shows the past and not necessarily what will transfer today.

Most of the classes that transferred in from U of the P could be completed on Sophia in less time and cost less.

Yes, but maybe there´s people that didn´t know about ACE, until many years after starting in the UoP
(I should have been doing Saylor instead of coursera and edX many years ago, but didn´t know about it)

In progress:
TESU - ASNSM ASBA, UNIR- Master Cyber Security
