Cousera Credly / ACE Credits

Is there anyway to get your Credly Badge / ACE credits on Coursera besides waiting on them? I completed a certification 6 days ago, and still nothing, and support is not very helpful there.

After this experience they're making me nervous.  I'm not sure if I'd trust them again for anything needing ACE credits.

I'm confused what is going on here, what is the problem? Do you know what or which provider is causing the delay? Have you emailed their support desk to get more information? What seems to be the problem is staffing shortage, very much demand in services... too many people requesting this to be completed and the limited number of staff, it's always a patience issue as well.

Are you paying for the Credly service or something and need this right away? Credly or Coursera might be located in the wildfire hotspots of California, or Tornado torn spots in Florida, your best bet is to get in contact with them then see what your options are... There really isn't much you can do, and your trust in them has nothing to do with their backlog and how you can help...

This reminds me so much of the Pierpont BOG AAS situation, no correspondence, but they will get the job done when they go through these backlogs. Coursera/Credly is 10X or more times larger, with a few hundred thousand students from all providers asking for credit transfers into a free Credly system. You're not paying for their services, Coursera is bombarded, just wait for it...

Just in case, did you check your email as some credly badges work different on coursera.. But should be issues right away after completeing the course... as long as you are subscribed (not trial) if you were on a trial you will not get the badge until after payment goes through its been awhile bus possibly 7 days after that.

Some badges will auto accept and appear on credly if you have it setup to do so.
Some on the other hand like IBM you need to claim the badge in the email they sent you otherwise it wont appear on credly.


Lastly wait for some people that have delays on getting a credly badge for whatever reason they usually get it on the 7th day.

I was already talking to their support. They eventually transferred my case to someone that was able to issue the badge.

The support was pretty bad, and not getting anywhere, so I was curious if there was some mechanism I could use to get the badge issued.

I don't think there is. If you're badge doesn't get automatically issued then your only option is to slog through their support.
