Someone posted a deal on a Masters in Malaysia degree here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...iti-Malaya
I went looking for some inexpensive Masters/Doctorate degrees in Malaysia this time, some are online, some are butt-in-seat.
If you're in the neck of the woods here for a few years, you may want to go for a graduate degree here, inexpensively!
What caught my eye is that some DBA/PhD degrees from "Top Universities" can be had for about 50K MYR/$12K USD.

There are ones that are even half the price, from 25K-35K MYR , as pointed out by a member here:

~$6000 all in. The programme is under provisional accreditation by the Malaysia qualifications agency - basically the Malaysia Government

Select list, search for 3811 under reference number

I wonder if Webometrics rank is useful for anything beyond maybe top few schools in the country. For Ukraine, maybe top 5 make sense (even that, highly debatable), and a hot mess in the middle. Krok should not be so far above Ukrainian Catholic University (or above at all). There are quite a few schools I never heard about ranked higher than the ones I heard about. Full disclosure: my alma mater is rated #2 in the country, and I think it's fair.
I think it is heavily biased in favor of large schools. For example, Kyiv School of Economics is 116th in the country. It's a small school, sure. But it's Master's degrees in Economics are absolute top notch; 8 out of 10 top economists in the country (rated by Forbes) have them.

The DBA https://www.bac.edu.my/bac/doctor-of-bus...ation-odl/
and PhD in Education https://www.bac.edu.my/bac/phd-in-education-odl/
are both 28K MYR, which comes out to being a tick over $6K USD. The provisional accreditation has gone through and Veritas University College is now properly accredited in Malaysia, although having both university and college in the name is going to sound incredibly stupid to native English speakers in the west. Master programs are available at half the doctorate price. HOWEVER, all of their grad programs are now listed as blended, not online. I don't see any details on how much time needs to be spent on campus, but one trip to Malaysia could easily add 50% to the cost of the degree.

Regarding 'blended learning', I wrote to BAC/Veritas to ask what the residency requirements are. The rep got back to me the same day and explained that their conception of 'blended' is that there are a variety of methods of learning & assessment. More specifically, he said the program would be a mix of "coursework, assignments and exams." (For context, I asked about a Master's program, not a doctoral one.)
So, I think they're trying to distinguish themselves from schools like GlobalNXT that have Master's that are basically pure research.

In 2022 the tuition fees for international students were USD$ 6,000.

If it fits your budget, commitments, time to completion, and all those other requirements, then go for the degree/program. The name is just one portion of the degree, there are so many other various variables that may this a good alternative to others. For those budget conscious, GlobalNXT might work along with the other options in the other countries I've looked at...

I have applied for DBA studies at this university. The fees are currently $6000 for the full 3-year course. Very reasonable. Their accreditations are also impressive. These include AACSB, EFMB, ICDE, WES and The Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), amongst others. Here is a link to the university.

Yes, they're one of a few that have the 'extra' accreditation people look at for programmatic or secondary accreditation. Even though they don't have the 'triple accreditation', with AACSB and others, they're already 'good enough'... The price is right to boot as well... I would also put a few other 'country doctorates' on the list in addition to this one if you're on the lookout for a comparable program.
