I work for a company that has a partnership with SNHU. Their College for America program is included as one of our employee education perks but I just called them to request more info & they told me they aren’t accepting anymore students. Instead we now only get a 10% discount on any level degree :/

They haven't been marketing the program for awhile. They haven't really done much with it in terms of advertising which is really too bad. I was hoping their CBE program would grow not get shutdown but they didn't put any effort into it after they launched it. Maybe they thought build it and htey will come.....but they have to know it exists.

Bummer.
College For America, Hodges UPower, Patten U/JFKU FlexCourse... any other notable CBE failures?
You'd think all of these courses would be a lot more popular in an environment where virtually everything else is on-demand. Obviously some places have figured it out. WGU certainly has made the model work.

Ouch, that was their main source of new students I think, I recall they received so many students from that program they pretty much matched WGU in sheer number of enrollments! It's all about the $, that program got them the students, now they're changing the program around to get the $ reward - loaded and locked all these into the program, then change the pricing model, bam - instant cash flow and students getting a sour surprise! SNHU is a non profit, but they seem more for-profit to me... Largest non-profit online colleges Link: https://www.nonprofitcollegesonline.com/...versities/

They're likely going to be able to finish out their CBE programs if they're already enrolled. harrypotter just indicated that they stated they aren't taking on NEW students in the program.

Last year they launched a scholarship for Momentum students:

The degrees are hard to find on their website; and that scholarship is not for the Momentum CBE program, it's just named "Momentum 2020."

I had no problem finding the Momentum degrees on their website. Simply type momentum in the search box and poof they pop up!

Hodges UPower! I was certain I was going to get a MPA (Master Public Administration) through them - it was a great program at a great price. In the end I just don't think they market these programs well.
