Here is a degree plan for the BSBA at TESU.

I put in the courses you've already taken (blue), and luckily, you took all Gen Ed's (and better yet, you've fulfilled both English Comp's, Info Lit requirement, Diversity requirement, and 2 of the 3 Knowledge of Human culture's).

I also highlighted the courses you should take immediately (yellow). ALEKS's Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra, and Stats if you can. The free Insurance Ethics course.

Register for the Strategic Management TECEP immediately, even if you have to pay the non-matriculated amount.

Then, start studying like crazy for the TECEP, and working through ALEKS - you have until the 30th before that expires.

If you end up deciding that you'd rather get a BALS than the BSBA, that's fine. The Strategic Management TECEP will get you enrolled, and will count in the BALS as a Free Elective. So you won't lose it. Then, you should sign up for the Capstone immediately (May term) so that you can start on May 1 and be done with it at the end of July, just in time to apply for September graduation.

Thanks so much for this dfrecore. This helps a ton. I just filled out the application, paid the fee and will call admissions in a few hours to have the app expedited for the May term.

Im curious, the degree plan you provided looks good. Do you/did you work in admissions somewhere or just very knowledgeable in the subject? Id like some background on the plan so i don't run into any issues when its finished and i think I'm done. Should i run the plan by someone at TESU?

This month. They've been on a short renewal cycle lately, they actually lapsed for a couple days at the beginning of April. If you get everything completed in time, you can request ACE credit while they are still approved.

ACE is the credit recommending agency, many online education sites (like ALEKS, Saylor, Straighterline) will approve ACE credit requests that you can then send to the college for course credits.

1. yes you want the 200 option. I would start with Straighterline if I were you. They will be quicker. You could do both at the same time though.

2. Signing up for the Strategic Management TECEP should be your first priority because once it is gone you will be stuck having to take the course. So a 3 credit college course that last 12 weeks ( I believe) and is 1500

3. Aleks is the fastest way to get your Math credits! so sign up.

The reason is there's a chance ALEKS won't get approved for the month of May. But they've been getting reapproved many times now, so I think you may have more time later.

Also since you said cost is not an issue, I would recommend against going crazy with ALEKS. Unless you are pretty good with math and find it not too hard, then by all means. But ALEKS is more challenging than other math exams of the same type.

Someone good at math can do like 9+ math credits a day there. Someone so-so at math might take many days to do 3 credits. To give you an idea.

I've replied to your private message: But just in case you didn't get a chance to read it there, and for others that may want to know more...

First off, read the Beginners Guide that I've created - it's a sticky in the forums. I also have added it to the degreeforum.wikia.com webpage.
That should get you started understanding the entire process. The second thing is to create that ACE account and also the spreadsheet.
I have an example spreadsheet there, use the exact same courses - cross reference the courses that dfrecore created in your thread.

I would highly suggest doing the Straighterline way, many people have accumulated 90 credits with them in under 2 months (like me).
For courses not offered by Straighterline, complete them at Saylor and Study.com - complete the TECEP last, you may want to register it twice.
Registering for it twice is going to be cheaper than attending that course, if you pass the first time, great, it's just $114-$117. Again, review the wiki.

Note: The reason I recommend Straighterline over Study.com is because you can pass the course before you get into the proctored final.
Straighterline is $99/month, but it's only $59/course for the majority of courses, some can get up to $74-79, and $99 respectively.
Study.com is slightly slower and more expensive, at $200/month for 2 courses, and if you needed, it's $70 each exam after the two courses.

Now you have 12 weeks to complete you 30 AOS credits and the Capstone TECEP if you registered in time (1 Test per week). Again the only way this is doable is if you know the material or you are not working AND you dont intend to learn anything lol... just pass classes and get the paper. I think its doable... but you are going to need to be able to dedicate 60+ hours per week to this.

I'm going to make an observation here. You're asking good questions, but they show that you've haven't put the effort researching topics that have already been mentioned on the forum already like why you need an ACE account. For the average newbie with 1-2 years to complete the degree, that's no problem. It's best for most to take a few week to let all of this sink in. It's a TON of material. But you don't have the luxury of time and some of the options are closing fast like ALEKS and the Strategic Management TECEP. If you're not willing to put in a lot of time learning this stuff this week, you may not be motivated enough to graduate by September or December. Personally, I think it's doable to graduate in September, but you will have to finish all of the work by mid-August which leaves you just four months to earn 102 credits. It takes someone super motivated to finish that fast. So I think you need to put in a lot more effort in researching this forum on your own and then coming back with focused questions on how to do this a lot faster than the average bear, which is not going to be easy. A good number of us know how to pass CLEP/DSST/TECEP tests with very minimal studying and complete SL courses fast, but you gotta take the first step by learning the basics fast since you don't have time to waste. At this point, I would expect someone super duper motivated to sign up for ALEKS already and complete at least 9 credits by Friday. Then work all weekend trying to get the 3 credits of ALEKS stats because it's required for the fastest degree which is the BSBA.

After I mentioned you have a ton of research to do quickly this week, don't get too hung up on researching and planning. Lots of people waste time planning when they should be taking exams and studying. It's time to get to work and I mean tonight, not this weekend.

One thing about SL is that you need to strategically use SL coupon codes to minimize your cost. Part of that is to finish as many SL courses as possible within 30 days while using every SL code possible (each code can only be used once). Once you burn the code for a free month, you better make it count.

It seems like they haven't had free month / $100 codes for a while. Only $50 codes I am interested in using their service but Public Speaking was $134 with the code!

OP isn't too concerned about budget.
