Any inexpensive accelerated RA credit science course options?

Hi all, 
I have a question. Sorry if it has been posted before. I need to get some prerequisites done such as General Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, etc but they need to be RA credits. I was wondering if there are any schools that offer courses faster than 8 weeks. And are inexpensive? The only fast ones I can think of are Doane - 8 weeks, Phoenix has a 7 week course. National University has 4 week courses, NOVA (Northern Virginia Community College) - 8 weeks. but these are pricey.

The next option that I can think of is to take self-paced courses and finish them in 4 weeks...but also pricey.

BYU has an independent study branch. They have several science courses. These are all done on your own. Not a set semester type of thing.

If they are transcripted like a course, then they will qualify as regular RA credit for transfer purposes. I am pretty sure that UExcel and TECEP's qualify, as well as things like CSU Global CBE's (though those are no longer available to the public).

Nothing on the EC website says anything about RA credit. You're not in residency when you take the exam meaning you're not an actively enrolled EC student.

According to SL, the exams provide for ACE credit.

Hey, I would recommend going with the community colleges that offer sciences online, such as NMJC.
They have good tuition pricing for out of state students and some of their courses are 8 weeks in length.
Others are Clovis, Luna, Rio Salado, Logan University, etc - I'm not sure if these are 8 weeks in duration.

That SL link is over 8 years old and is outdated, only mentioning 8 UExcel tests when Excelsior offers a couple dozen at least. 

Students who pass UExcel exams earn college credit on an official transcript from Excelsior College. UExcel exams are also eligible for ACE CREDIT.

The ACE National Guide shows that all of Excelsior's tests have had their ACE status expired for a few years now.

Nothing on the EC website says anything about RA credit.

Since Excelsior is an RA college and they are providing credits for their own exams, it would be implied that they are RA credits unless stated otherwise on the EC website. Like all things, it never hurts to verify directly with them, though.

Since the OP needs these credits to apply to a specific program, a test may not be the best way to go. I mean the OP can ask, but I'd have a backup plan and get approval in writing.

8 years ago EC had more than those exams listed on SL available. I would not assume that the exams are RA. I would check with the school the OP needs the credit for especially since it's for a program requirement. It's called getting your ducks all in a row.
