Any inexpensive accelerated RA credit science course options?

Quote:8 years ago EC had more than those exams listed on SL available.

So an 8 year old SL blog post isn't the most accurate source for EC information.

Quote:Like all things, it never hurts to verify directly with them, though.

Quote:I would not assume that the exams are RA.

Excellent, we agree.

Quote:I agree, it is always recommended to check with your target institution and EC also recommends checking with them along with providing a guide to some schools that do accept UExcels.

Quote:I would check with the school the OP needs the credit for especially since it's for a program requirement.

Excellent, we agree and and so does EC.

Tel Learning is another potential source for RA credits:

https://www.tellearning.org/courses-on-d...-it-works/

They have biology, chemistry, and physical sciences (all with lab if needed). The courses get transcripted as RA credit from one of their partner universities.

Tellearning looks great...$200 for 3 self-paced RA credits.  Have you tried any of their On Demand courses, Rachel?

Hi, everyone. I am so thankful for the inexpensive options. I was already crying at the notion of spending 5k on 5 classes *yikes* yes the credits need to be RA they will not accept alternative credits for the program I am looking at. I am now so curious and will message Excelsior to see if the credits can be placed onto a transcript as RA credits. It doesn't hurt to try or know. Tel Learning and Portage Learning are interesting never heard of them and interesting concepts.

I randomly found this:

Edukan - In Kansas
https://edukan.edu/paying-for-college/
Classes are $150 per credit hour.

But didn't know how cheap these schools can be. :-)
NMJC = $70 per credit hour
Clovis = $111 per credit hour
Rio Salado = $250 per credit hour
Logan = $275 per credit hour
Luna = $40 per credit hour ( wow - no accelerated classes though)

Thank you again.

I have not. They don't have anything I need, unfortunately.

Thank you everyone for sharing! I am highly interested in these higher level courses especially for business your links have helped me a bit as some relate to mathematics too.

Wow! this is great! their courses are cheaper than ASU Earned Admission courses!
I think I'll be taking a few of their courses.

Thanks!

Please be sure to keep us updated. There is virtually no info out there on the Tellearning student experience, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is very curious to learn more.
