That's almost exactly like the plan I have for my 12th grader. We are also still unsure about the Fine Arts / Lit option.

Shmoop Literature in the Media or Shakespeare's Plays would work for Fine Arts. So would CLEP Analyzing Lit.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

Study.com just added A&I Lit as well, not 6cr, but still a good option.

Straighterline et al. would do well to add an Art or Music Appreciation course.

If you are opposed to literature, you could take Art Appreciation from Penn Foster. Its ACE approval is currently good through 7/31/2018. It is not the cheapest option, but might be a good alternative for some. I haven't taken it, but there are several threads on this course on this forum. (PF's Music Appreciation is NOT currently up to date with ACE.)
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

CLEP ANalyzing and Interpreting Lit is the "easy" button for Lit/Fine Arts IMO. I'm pretty sure everything else mentioned will work too.
This plan is linked in my signature...you might take a look for comparison sake.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Thanks for all of the responses, CLEP is just not an option for me where I live, I do have an UofP nearby however I find them to be very expensive for CLEP and the times do not work for me. So I suppose Shmoop will be something I look into. If I had the choice of closing the car door on my thumb 5 times vs taking Art/Lit I would opt for the former......

Hi everyone, I have made some progress, I am still working on my AS, however took a few classes which apply to my BS through COSC. I plan on 'dumping' these from ACE to COSC shortly. Not sure if that is the best approach, but as ACE charges for each transfer..... Any input would be appreciated. Thank you
