All Sophia Courses Free as of today - 3-19-20!

Hello. Does anyone know why the TESU partner page has been disabled on Sophias website?

I emailed them. Waiting for a response.

Ummmmmm, not sure what is going on, but tesu.sophia.org is disabled and TESU logo is no longer listed on the partner page (but still in the text):

Hmm, interesting... Anyone note down what the courses transfer in as? I didn't. Anyways, I think they may have not updated the info on the page and found it easier to have it in the list below.

I am thinking they're still working out the kinks and trying to get into the TESU approved provider list, because they're not in yet - they're leaving that disabled for now as it's not a guaranteed transfer.

I guess they've gone the same way as WGU, the courses should still come in as intended for general education/free elective or AOS. Actually, I don't recall WGU having been in the drop down list...

I'm hoping it's just adding the Project Management Sophia course. I don't remember that being on the TESU page before, and then making clear the fundamentals math courses are considered developmental only. 

I need a good Statistics class for TESU BA Psychology. Sophia looked perfect for me, especially at this price.

Agree.  I can't see them allowing MORE credits so I'm assuming they'll be removing some.

Everyone keep calm down and do all your courses, I highly doubt anything major or adverse is going to happen right now with the courses. They should be updating the info as I believe the courses should still transfer in exactly as mentioned in their previous pages when it was active.

Now, if you're really afraid something happened, you can review the ACE credit registry and see if any of the courses expired or something, other than that, TESU (any of the Big 3 and the other colleges) will follow what is recommend for credit on ACE. If nothing has happened, they're just "updating" not removing or downgrading.

This is all pretty amazing. Seems like mostly everyone here is attending TESU? I am attending Excelsior... I'm looking to see how I can take advantage of this AMAZING opportunity right now! I'll report back with any news.

hlg38, the original poster is going for an Excelsior degree, their transfer shouldn't haven't changed, they're not affected...

Oh, and there's an update, it's now available for ALL the schools they have an agreement with, it is no longer just available for the generic account, Capella & Strayer, all accounts have this special FREE option!
