Is anyone very familiar with the ALEKS program? I think I will need to take Precalculus and am considering ALEKS.

Yes I just completed Precalculus on ALEKS back on Dec. 6. It's $20 a month. I think precal had 265 modules. You need to get to 70 percent to get the course transcripted by ACE. There is much more on this whole topic if you search for the specific thread on ALEKS.

I wonder which would be the better way, assuming my future college (probably TESC) accepts both.....CLEP Precalculus or ALEKS Precal?

I can't see there being any difference. However, I'd ask a TESC advisor to get a more specific answer for what you are trying to do.
