A master is not always 36 credits. Some master's programs are more and some are less. There's no set rule on how many credits a master's degree is. Why should they be at least 60 credits? That's overboard.

For those who want to start a cohort, we can get people to finish the ASU 15 credit cert for transfer credit, then voila... $450 Masters! Woo hoo... When do we sign up?

Hehe. But I don’t think we know the cost for the ASU credits. I only heard “nominal fee”.

Most Masters degrees are anywhere from 30-36 credits in length, 10-12 classes if you're going by the semester credit system... For those going to institutions that belong to the quarter system, credits are anywhere from 45 onwards... You really need to take a look at the program, the credit system they use, and calculate from that, all in all... It should be just those 10-12 classes, regardless of the 'system' they use, as some have projects, seminars, thesis, etc of various credits in lieu of classes.

I really hope Elmwood offers another master's degree program with the same tuition fees. I think we'll have to wait at least another year to find out.
