The last I heard, TESU was bringing it in as MAT-102; I'm not sure if they've changed it to BUS-210 now, and how that will work as to whether or not it will fulfill the Quant Lit requirement for anyone or not.

I also transferred it as a credit bank, non-degree person. I don't know if that made a difference.

I completed the CSM course today. I suppose even if it does not meet the quant literacy requirements, it will definitely atleast serve as a Gen-Ed elective, or a free elective? I just needed to plan one last course for my academic evaluation, and this was an inexpensive one. It was very easy for the most part, but the 100 % clause, and its repetitive nature made it annoying after a point.

I'm inquiring to my advisor with Excelsior right now. She didn't seem familiar with it, but is forwarding the ace link to the evaluation team to see where it stands. I'll update when I get further information.

Math courses normally come in as Gen Eds at TESU, but if it comes in as a BUS course, then it may be a Free Elective.

I heard back from my TESU advisor- the CSM course will transfer in as BUS-210. I am curious why that is so, when ACE itself recommends it a quantitative reasoning course. I am also waiting to hear from the CSM guys about my certificate. Why do they take three days to process? Are they trying to verify if I solved the problems on my own, or if some robot did it?

It would be good to ask where it's going to fit into a degree plan.  Ask if it will come in as a quantitative lit requirement, or will be GE, or Free Elective.

My course was evaluated by TESU yesterday as BUS-210: QUANTITATIVE SKILLS FOR BUSINESS (3 credits) and listed as a Gen-Ed elective. That said, they have moved some things around rather bizarrely in my evaluation, and I'm going to follow up, as the course description for BUS-210 in the current catalog very clearly states that "This course is also designed to measure a student's competency in quantitative reasoning/literacy, one of the institutional learning outcomes."

Yes. It comes as Gen-Ed in my evaluation too. I asked them why it is not treated as a Quant reasoning course. They said it’s title is ‘Quant reasoning for Business.’

My advisor got back to me and said it doesn't meet excelsior's requirements for College Math, but I already paid the $40 for it so I'm going to complete it.
