World religions or public speaking
#1
Which test is harder, world religions or public speaking? And how much prep time is needed for each one?

I dunno J. I'm prepping for world religions right now and got a 35 out of 50 on DSST's $5 practice exam. I plan on taking it in the next week or two, work willing. So far IC and wikipedia seem to be spot on, but then again I have studied this topic before so I'm a piss poor gauge of study method effectiveness if you're starting @ 0 IMHO.

Unless you've got what a speech reviewer is looking for, I found the Public Speaking DSST a bit of an unknown. The multiple choice is easy enough, but the speech part wasn't so much.

World religions on the other hand is simply memorizing the facts. My favorite book was Religions of the World by Hopfe. There's even a companion web site:
Religions of the World, 8/e
