Pierpont timelines for 10/4

Long time lurker and since this forum have been so helpful I thought I would post some information I think would be beneficial to those looking to get their AAS BOG from Pierpont. Below is the time line for my partner, friend and mother.  



Friend's timeline : She lives in the states. Her credits are coming from ASU, 2 other RA schools and Sophia. *She didn't understand fully when the information was given to her. She thought she needed ASU in addition to the credit she already have. 


8/10/2024: Application submitted
8/10/2024: Transcript sent via Credly for Sophia, Parchment and through other school that uses Blockchain
8/13/2024: Started ASU Course CIS194
8/15/2024: Emailed tech support as no email and temp password was sent 
8/16/2024: Tech support provided her with information 
9/12/2024 : Also sent Credly transcript to the esprocessing email
9/13/2024: Sophia credits and 1 RA school credits were processed.
9/19/2024: Though she's missing a few credits she submitted her application for graduation hoping they will process the rest of her credits soon
9/20/2024: Sent ASU via Parchment 
9/27/2024: ASU credit processed
**** Still missing Blockchain credit****
**Nothing is showing in student account as far as the fee or her application for graduation, she did go ahead an pre-pay the $350 fee hoping that once they invoice her it will zero out.**




Partner's time line: Partner is international, did Sophia and ASU.

8/18/2024: Attempted to apply ... Even after verifying identity there was some issues with him getting back on to do the application 
8/19/2024: Started ASU CIS194 class 
8/25/2024: Application finally submitted
8/26/2024: Username email
8/26/2024: Temp password email received 
8/28/2024: Email about next steps and where/how to send transcript
8/28/2024: Transcript sent to processing@pierpont.edu (this was the email indicated in the email sent to him.)
9/11/2024: ASU written assignment graded , did course submission 
9/17/2024: Sophia credit processed and showed up in ROAR 
9/17/2024: Reached out to ASU tech support via chat... no "add to transcript button" and case was escalated 
9/18/2024: ASU support updated and said they are working on it but to keep an eye out to for the button to show up in dashboard. Later that day it did show up. However was not able to order transcript.
9/20/2024: Class and credit showed up on "unofficial transcript" 
9/20/2024: Ordered Transcript via Parchment 
9/23/2024: Check ROAR multiple times during the day but finally around  8:55 pm EST it showed credit from ASU was processed
9/23/2024: Sent email along with graduation application to registar cc'd David  
By the looks of it, they are extremely busy so don't sit around waiting to hear back from them.
9/25/2024: Logged in to see that there is an active graduation application dated 9/25/2024 and as well as the $350 fee on the account

Key take aways 

•  I'd say for certain that sending transcripts via esprocessing is much faster as others have mentioned 
  
• Any school sending transcript via Blockchain, there might be some delay. I'm not sure why but my niece is also having this issue where Blockchain transcripts are taking longer than the normal methods.
  
• When first applying to Pierpont it seems some individuals receive their log in information automatically while others have to reach out to tech support for assistance 
  
• As mentioned by others don't keep sending emails... They are busy so chances of getting a response after submitting graduation application isn't guaranteed 
  
• Honestly not sure if my friend prepaying the fee is the wisest thing to do. Keeping fingers crossed that something shows up on by Mon/Tue for her.

They use National Student Clearinghouse, and it shows up as retrieved by Pierpont. On 9/25 I submitted my graduation application via email and sent it to Registrar, Lisa, J. Davis and CCd David and Nancy. Still no RA credits in ROAR or email response from anyone which is to be expected. Debating on pre-paying or waiting it out, because I have heard some people on here saying that payment is due and grad app needs to be approved by Oct 4th.

Just hoping we can still get this degree. The waiting and hoping game is the hardest part!!

Partner: It appears that once the grad application is processed and the fee is added to the account there's a hold on "unofficial transcript" as a few other mentioned. Payment was made. Account now shows $0.00

Friend: Waiting on her update

Mother: Went ahead and prepay the $350 fee. Account now reflects that she have a credit of $350. Hopefully her ASU credit and grad application is processed in time.

No worries. Praying that everything work in your favor. It'd be nice if you check tomorrow, and everything is processed. Honestly to be on the safe side I would push for everything to be done by Oct 4th, or even the 3rd.

Ok. So i just checked and when i apply for graduation i get this.

Information Please select a term.

Hi, I'm no pro at this but want to say sorry that you are experiencing this. Nancy is no longer the person to contact. You mentioned credit missing, do you have at least the 60 including the 1 RA needed to graduate? Have you tried sending another email to David and cc Lisa to it?


I don't have a definite solution for you but can you try the following first?


Log into ROAR > Student > Student account > Account Summary [What does it show?] If it shows $350 then they received and processed your grad application and all you have to do is pay the fee..


Still in ROAR > Student > Student records > View Application to Graduate [Do you see anything there?] If it loads with information, it means they received your grad application.



Now if you tried the above and there is nothing, I'd say maybe submit the grad application again  which I linked below... Make sure to use your Pierpont email and send to the registrar and cc David to the same email. It also won’t hurt to cc Lisa as well. If you are missing credits make sure to mention that in the body of email.

Friend: Transcript sent from B&M school via Blockchain is still not showing up. She did pre-pay and will give me update once she logs back in

Mother: Peachment transcripts shows "downloaded", grad application processed. Her account initially had a credit of $350 from her pre-paying now her balance is $0. So based on this it seems pre-paying is not a bad idea.

Update for Graduation

I sent an email to advise@pier and got a response with 4 hours and Dean Bailey responded that my audit says i meet and sent me a paper form to fill out for graduation. I spoke to register, and they said that I should just email the filled form so that I don't miss the deadline of October 4.
Pretty fast response from everyone and all my doubts are gone.
Glad i will be having a AAS degree !!

I just spoke with the registrar's office over the phone today. They called me literally right after I sent my follow-up email lol. They let me know that my application was received and that I meet all the requirements (which are "1. apply for the program and 2. have a received application for graduation") before October 4. Was told that transcripts do not need to be processed by the October 4th deadline. 

Everyone I have talked to has been really helpful and it was nice to get a voice on the phone as well. Super excited to graduate with this degree! Go Pierpont!

EDIT: Does anyone know if payment is due on October 4th? I am not seeing anything in ROAR even after this response. Want to make sure I am paid up.

9/25/2024: Logged in to see that there is an active graduation application dated 9/25/2024 and as well as the $350 fee on the account

9/17/2024: ASU written assignment graded, submitted course completion module 
9/19/2024: Sent Sophia credits to esprocessing@pierpont.com
9/23/2024: Credit processed and showed up in ROAR
9/26/2024: ASU add to transcript button showed up. Took a few hours before it showed up on the unofficial transcript 
9/26/2024: Ordered ASU transcript via Parchment 
9/27/2024: Though missing 1 RA credit, mother submitted the graduation application

Key take aways 

•  I'd say for certain that sending transcripts via esprocessing is much faster as others have mentioned 
  
• Any school sending transcript via Blockchain, there might be some delay. I'm not sure why but my niece is also having this issue where Blockchain transcripts are taking longer than the normal methods.
  
• When first applying to Pierpont it seems some individuals receive their log in information automatically while others have to reach out to tech support for assistance 
  
• As mentioned by others don't keep sending emails... They are busy so chances of getting a response after submitting graduation application isn't guaranteed 
  
• Honestly not sure if my friend prepaying the fee is the wisest thing to do. Keeping fingers crossed that something shows up on by Mon/Tue for her.

Partner: It appears that once the grad application is processed and the fee is added to the account there's a hold on "unofficial transcript" as a few other mentioned. Payment was made. Account now shows $0.00

Friend: Waiting on her update

Mother: Went ahead and prepay the $350 fee. Account now reflects that she have a credit of $350. Hopefully her ASU credit and grad application is processed in time.

I have been lurking on this forum since I applied on the 24th. Submitted transcripts and next day Sophia transcripts showed up in ROAR, but still waiting on RA credits to transfer in from a couple B&M universities. They use National Student Clearinghouse, and it shows up as retrieved by Pierpont. On 9/25 I submitted my graduation application via email and sent it to Registrar, Lisa, J. Davis and CCd David and Nancy. Still no RA credits in ROAR or email response from anyone which is to be expected. Debating on pre-paying or waiting it out, because I have heard some people on here saying that payment is due and grad app needs to be approved by Oct 4th.

Just hoping we can still get this degree. The waiting and hoping game is the hardest part!!

No worries. Praying that everything work in your favor. It'd be nice if you check tomorrow, and everything is processed. Honestly to be on the safe side I would push for everything to be done by Oct 4th, or even the 3rd.

I just spoke with the registrar's office over the phone today. They called me literally right after I sent my follow-up email lol. They let me know that my application was received and that I meet all the requirements (which are "1. apply for the program and 2. have a received application for graduation") before October 4. Was told that transcripts do not need to be processed by the October 4th deadline. 

Everyone I have talked to has been really helpful and it was nice to get a voice on the phone as well. Super excited to graduate with this degree! Go Pierpont!

EDIT: Does anyone know if payment is due on October 4th? I am not seeing anything in ROAR even after this response. Want to make sure I am paid up.

Awesome, happy to hear that. Honestly I see most say that Oct 4th deadline is for everything and I'd prefer to be on the safe side. If you're able to maybe try and pre-pay since. My mom did and once they invoiced her account the balance shows as $0.00. If not then I'd wait until maybe the 2nd to make payment.

Long time lurker and since this forum have been so helpful I thought I would post some information I think would be beneficial to those looking to get their AAS BOG from Pierpont. Below is the time line for my partner, friend and mother.  



Friend's timeline : She lives in the states. Her credits are coming from ASU, 2 other RA schools and Sophia. *She didn't understand fully when the information was given to her. She thought she needed ASU in addition to the credit she already have. 


8/10/2024: Application submitted
8/10/2024: Transcript sent via Credly for Sophia, Parchment and through other school that uses Blockchain
8/13/2024: Started ASU Course CIS194
8/15/2024: Emailed tech support as no email and temp password was sent 
8/16/2024: Tech support provided her with information 
9/12/2024 : Also sent Credly transcript to the esprocessing email
9/13/2024: Sophia credits and 1 RA school credits were processed.
9/19/2024: Though she's missing a few credits she submitted her application for graduation hoping they will process the rest of her credits soon
9/20/2024: Sent ASU via Parchment 
9/27/2024: ASU credit processed

**Nothing is showing in student account as far as the fee or her application for graduation, she did go ahead an pre-pay the $350 fee hoping that once they invoice her it will zero out.**

8/18/2024: Attempted to apply ... Even after verifying identity there was some issues with him getting back on to do the application 
8/19/2024: Started ASU CIS194 class 
8/25/2024: Application finally submitted
8/26/2024: Username email
8/26/2024: Temp password email received 
8/28/2024: Email about next steps and where/how to send transcript
8/28/2024: Transcript sent to processing@pierpont.edu (this was the email indicated in the email sent to him.)
9/11/2024: ASU written assignment graded , did course submission 
9/17/2024: Sophia credit processed and showed up in ROAR 
9/17/2024: Reached out to ASU tech support via chat... no "add to transcript button" and case was escalated 
9/18/2024: ASU support updated and said they are working on it but to keep an eye out to for the button to show up in dashboard. Later that day it did show up. However was not able to order transcript.
9/20/2024: Class and credit showed up on "unofficial transcript" 
9/20/2024: Ordered Transcript via Parchment

UPDATE

Received an email back from Lisa stating that my graduation application was indeed marked as received before the October 4th deadline. She also informed me that my B&M college credits were recieved and will be recorded soon, offering me to reach back out in a week or two if there was no update. She concluded by saying that my area of emphasis will be worked out with David Beighly once my credits post to my transcript. 

Went and checked ROAR after I got home from work and my graduation application was added to the "view application to graduate" tab and the $350 fee appeared in my student account. Paid it and now just sitting back for any next steps, without the pressure of that Oct. 4th deadline. Feels good for sure.

Now its just rolling with the punches until Dec 13th!

Update: Check your DegreeWorks/ROAR. My official degree audit date was on 10/07/2024. It’s showing 100% and listed as COMPLETE. This is a huge relief since all communication from Pierpont has been mute since early June for me.
