The rules for clinical hours are complicated, but it is reasonable to expect no less than 900 clinical hours. Online programs do not reduce the number of clinical hours.
85% is worrisome. 85 for the online program wouldn't be such a big deal to me, except that their ADN is ALSO 85%...ughhh. Not good. 900 hours over 21 months could still be done in 1 long weekend per month. I checked last night, our area used to have a direct flight on airtran from my city to san antonio. Only cost about $40. That's been discontinued though. The degree cost is good though, that estimate of $5-6k per term is only if you are doing all the gen eds. It's under $250 per credit. MUCH cheaper than the BSN program I interviewed for last night. ($544/cr) But, the program I'm looking at has an excellent pass rate, greater than 90%. So many decisions....
While I'm in a non-compact state, Texas IS a compact state, so if you are a resident of TX, that's a huge plus.
