ALEK's is defeated!

So it took me 4.5 months but I finally reached that 70% mark on pre-calculus.

Those three credits are securely stored with ACE :hurray:

Here's my opinion on it in retrospect,
ALEK's is very difficult. It's an AI program that is designed to assess you cumulatively on a somewhat random basis. This can be frustrating as you will always be tested on material you don't know in addition to what you do know.

There is no place holder. This means on any given assessment you can lose ground for any little silly mistake you make. Many people go backwards and forwards in the course. This depends a lot on how well you retain your topics. I personally have only gone backwards once but I've heard some real horror stories.

The key to success in ALEK's is to work on the program EVERY day. If you don't stay on it, you will not progress.

Takes discipline but it can definitely be done. If you're like me, the CLEP just wasn't an option due to my lack of mathematical pre-knowledge I could've never passed it. I just had to take a course to learn it.
