I would like to take a Clep exam for college mathematics (it's the only one the local community college will except besides pre calc and calc) in August. First question. How long does it take for clep exams to be processed because I need to take computer classes in the fall but they keep telling me I need to take a remedial course. If I pass clep I can bypass this.
Any recommendations on how I should go about this. I have seen in other threads people complaining about Saylor and I am wondering what the pros and cons vs different avenues would be. I would probably start at a pre algebra level as of now. (Alek i can use to transfer if i wanted to test out right)
I really need to start from the bottom. Do you guys think this is an unrealistic goal? I do pretty well on my other subjects. I just have not taken a math course in 8 years.
Oh and I want to take the information system and computer applications clep as well. I feel like I might be able to just bang that out using quizlet and memorizing the terms. I passed my ace personal training test this past month doing that and it worked wonders.
Thanks for any advice you may have. Happy belated Easter!
