Is a Clep Like An Air Force CDC Test?

I have already passed all of my CDC test. The way i did it was that i memorized every question possible and the answer. I tried to do that with one of the CLEP study quide book, and i failed my first clep test. If i memorize all of the questions on this site will i pass my test, or is this more like a learning guide, than memorization.
