Is a Clep Like An Air Force CDC Test? - Afdanw - 11-08-2009 I have already passed all of my CDC test. The way i did it was that i memorized every question possible and the answer. I tried to do that with one of the CLEP study quide book, and i failed my first clep test. If i memorize all of the questions on this site will i pass my test, or is this more like a learning guide, than memorization. Thanks Is a Clep Like An Air Force CDC Test? - Basket Weaver - 11-08-2009 No, the CDC's are fairly predictable; if you memorize all of the questions in your CDCs you will probably make about an 85% on the test...I would know. CLEP's require you to have a general knowledge of the material, most pretest questions that you see will not be verbatim on the actual test taken...also keep in mind that there are several different test versions of the same subject so the old "memorize the question tactic" is seldom successful. As to your question about IC being about memorization...the answer will differ depending on who you talk to. For me, I was able to use just IC and practice tests for about 90% of my BS degree; some people here stress that the more varied your resources are, the more likely that you'll see the material covered in its entirety. In the end, you're going to have to figure this one out for yourself. I would err on the side of caution and OVER-PREPARE and insure a pass.
