I can't vouch for for the first one you mentioned, but I do know you can pass Analyzing/Lit without studying. If you are good at reading comprehension, you will do fine. I am not very good at reading and understanding stuff. I need to read things over and over again. Therefore this test for me was very hard and I used every bit of time. I still passed with a B. The only thing I wish I would have known were some of the literary terms. That would have given me my "A". I say take it as soon as you can! Hope this helps.
