I wouldn't buy these books for Excelsior's exams. Why not buy the exact book that the ECE's are based on?
Excelsior tells you right on their site what books they used to make the exam. I passed 5 ECE's last year using a used version of the book recommended for the course. I bought all of them on Amazon. After studying a used textbook, the exam was not only easy but I went into the exam super confident because I knew there wouldn't be any surprises -- which IMO is a huge advantage going in to any exam. Just my 2 cents.
