Are the classes you've registered for in the out of state institution going to be added to the transcript for the out of state institution? In other words, will those classes affect the GPA of the new school, not the community college? I ask because, if you're having issues with a community college developmental math class, it's going to be on-par (if not harder) with the class at the new school. Have you thought of ways to learn the material so you can pass? No, it shouldn’t affect anything at the out of state school. My trasnscript has already been transferred over from the community college. The failed algebra class didn’t even show up on the transcript. The out of state school has a business math class which doesn’t have the algebra prerequisite. Basically I’m bypassing the community college’s prereq and jumping into business math. CC said they’ll accept the credits from the out of state university. Algebra isn’t required for the AAS, but business math is. The CC’s intro algebra course is more of a formality they have before they allow you to enroll in higher level math courses.
