Depends on your career and where you live. If you're a tractor trailer long hauler an MBA probably isn't going to help in that career but could help you transition to a new one. The UK diplomas aren't viewed the same outside the UK. In the US you'd constantly be explaining what on earth it is and people still wouldn't get it. We also don't have a way to denoted them in online applications. I have an MBA and it has helped my career but I also have decades of experience in business and have owned several businesses over the years.
You also have to think about what your undergrad is in. If you have a BA in Psychology or English you're most likely missing the foundation needed in business courses. Most MBA programs have business course requirements from the undergrad level for admission into an MBA program.
