I don´t think that locking the rate is usual, right? (as when I entered to the UoPeople in 2017, I paid USD$ 100 per course, and then I kept the same rate until 2024).
You get this box in your application:
" Advanced Standing (Transfer Credit)
List applicable courses at the graduate level satisfactorily completed for which you request Advanced Standing. No more than 50% of the credits required for a Master's degree program may be fulfilled via transfer credit. "
So you have to specify which courses you plan to transfer.
That's pretty lazy on their part. They are the ones who are suppose to do the evaluation on what transfers and what doesn't. At the same time, I understand why they are doing this for the influx of applications they will get for the incredibly low price.
