Outside IVY League and Georgetown etc. A financial managment course is a financial managment course whether you pay 100 or 1000 for it....but I get where you're coming from..for employment it would make a difference...for someone wanting to put MBA on my business card...mmm...not really...
@tinasam UoP is almost US 4800 dollars...lol...Hellenic is only for US Citizens...RCU is $1620 and I applied for a scholarship.....God knows I need it....its $1000 so fingers crossed...yeah there are a lot...worse case I lose a few hundred bucks studing some business courses...and can still legally put MBA after my name...
@bjcheng Yeah I checked that CARICOM adheres strictly to UK OfQual levels and we have a CARICOM to NQF as well....so ENEB and other UK Level 7 is evaluated as a 'Masters degree' in any caricom country (Jamaica, TT etc etc)...Level 8 will be evaluated as a "doctoral degree"....so Level 8 for bullet proof legal qualifications and the sub 1k US MBA to pit if after my name...legally...here UK qualifications hold more weight than US schools...lawyers typically all go to University of London or UWI....Anglia Ruslin, Greenwich and other UK schools UK ABE etc etc are accepted without question as many svhools here teach classes that get awarded by UK Unis....City and Guilds is standard for technicians and oil and gas workers erc etc
I dont need to to a PhD or DBA....maybe for teaching? Bit for all intents and purposes level 8 is a 'doctoral degree'...academically its ABD...evaluated its a 'Doctoral Degree" might do a DBA as well for businesscard namesake...
I could do ENEB but I want a little rigor as well...I like RCU...so I'll be the Guniea pig.....
As for CIE...ugghhh....I was doing the AAS Software Engineering and AAS Electronics wanted to do the BEET at World College after....sigh....so sad....remember when CIE and Grantham had low cost monthly payments? CIE grads went to grantham also to complete their bachelors..CIE had some awesum alumni too...its a shame really...there were some bookstore courses I wanted to do as well sigh...
Thanks for the advice though....
@klone 9900 US dollars!? ???? Thats a lot...
I'll gamble a few hundred....I mean at some point someone did ENEB decided to get evaluated....
At some point someone enrolled in an unaccredited University of the People...
I'll be the guinea pig for this school...its my way of giving back to the forum...I mean we all enjoy these things...
$9900 for an MBA is CHEAP. You must be unfamiliar with the cost of graduate programs in America.
