Can I get a Pierpont associate degree entirely from Sophia courses?

Doing English Comp at Sophia for transfer to UMPI is possible, but not suggested. The English Comp classes at UMPI are there to teach you how to write the papers you'll need for your other classes. Every school has slightly different expectations in regards to exactly how to format a paper (APA vs. MLA, etc.) and it's usually better to learn the specific requirements in a LL class like English Comp rather than a more difficult UL one where you're also trying to absorb the lesson contents.

Once I've done above, gotten an associate degree from Piperpont, and transferred to UMPI, can I then do these courses? I would want to try these courses after above because I'm a little unsure if I can do US US History I or Environmental Science at Sophia.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Are you unsure if you'll be allowed to complete the classes or is it a question of personal ability?

From reading the pages I mentioned it sounds like you don't need to do any courses at UMPI, so I think not doing the writing course at UMPI shouldn't matter right? I want to not do any course at UMPI if possible for the easiest experience possible and just get a degree with Sophia, Coursera certifications, and and stuff like that and previous universities and community colleges I went to for maybe elective credit or just use Sophia and stuff like that for elective credit.

For US history and environmental science it's about person ability. I might just be able to finish them easily, but just to be on the safe side I have a small desire to avoid them if I can. History seems like it has a lot of important events, I can understand the big picture but remembering individual events I was thinking could get maybe complicated.
