Urdu is an available language through ACTFL/LTI as either the OPI (Oral proficiency interview) or WPT (written proficiency test). They are each $165, and you can earn up to 12cr (6 LL and 6 UL) this way. So if you don't have a lot of credits already, this is a great way to get them.
So I can just do the Urdu ACTFL OPI exam which is $165 and that should satisfy the foreign language requirement at UMPI?
Do I have to go somewhere to do the OPI exam or can it be done at home online? Thanks.

How long do you think the Sophia Spanish course would take most people who have no exposure to Spanish? All I know in Spanish I think is gracias, which I think means thank you or thanks. I've never really spoken to anyone in any Spanish in my life.
I think doing an OPI (Oral proficiency interview) for Urdu, my first or native language, would be easier since I already can speak it okay. I have no problem having a conversation with someone in Urdu. Plus I might use Urdu with family members, where as I might never use Spanish in my life. Thanks.
