The current professor is very available, responsive, and willing to help. The course itself is outdated and doesn't really contain the info you need to complete the Milestones and Final Project. BUT it is still less work than the Google Certificate.
The Google Data Analytics Certification, which I have also completed, is a better-built course, but also a LOT more work. It isn't difficult though and you get 12 credits. So if you need the electives it could be worthwhile.
If you don't need the electives, take the UMPI course. The current Prof is great.
Who's teaching BUS245 now? I had an adjunct who was not thrilled with the course because the content was old and didn't match the Final Assessment at all. The language I had to use wasn't even covered in the course which made absolutely no sense.
It is being taught by Dr. Curran. The course is still out of date and poorly put together. The content does touch on what is in the final, but not in a comprehensive way.
Dr. Curran is aware that the course needs to be reworked. (It was apparently very recently handed to him.) HE is responsive and helpful. And the course requires significantly less than the Google Cert does, so while the Google Cert is, at the moment, a better course; if someone doesn't need the electives, BUS 245 is likely the more efficient path.
