Hello Everyone, I hope you're well. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone in Summer Session Two has any info on what courses Dr. Z is instructing this session? I have taken two courses from him which were great. He is not taking all the course load anymore, so I also have taken another HTY/POS with Dr. Hinson. Both are great instructors. I did POS335 and POS489- Dr.Z, then POS343- Dr. H. If anyone has taken or is enrolled in another Dr. Z course not 335 or 489 can you share with me? I'd appreciate it. P.S. I will go to anyone, but I am looking for Dr.Z specifically as I know everyone raves about him, truth is he is very connected/accessible responds to e-mails, grades quickly, provides feedback, which makes the learning journey move along.

aka he's easy so I want more classes from him lol.
All the HTY/POS profs respond pretty quickly FYI, so it doesnt really matter. Sebold probably gives the most in depth feedback and responds in 1-2 days

It seems like Dr. Z has really cut back on what he's teaching. I haven't seen him mentioned on Discord lately. Have you asked your academic success coach to see what classes he's teaching this term?
As far as the comment about he's easy so I want more classes from him. There are people who enjoy professors and it's not because they're easy. I had a professor for 7-8 classes who I loved. Many people can't stand her. In grad school, 1 term I took 4 classes with the same professor after having her the term before. I'm bummed she's no longer teaching so I had to find others who I can tolerate since my classes are all electives at this point. Sometimes people just mesh with a professor. They like their teaching style, the assignments are reasonable, grading is reasonable, etc.

I mean maybe but we are talking about ONE specific professor. His popularity was clearly prominent because his classes were short, he graded fast and was very lenient. He is an objectively easy professor, let's face it. There is a reason why he had to cut back and also a reason why he one of the few profs people always ask about when choosing classes.
