Anyone have experience on reevaluating business courses from Faculty members?

I have an update. My BUS 220 Managerial Accounting equivalency request was approved by the business faculty. I wrote a detailed email to the person in charge of the equivalency for this course, which the transfer officer forwarded on my behalf. I cited the ACCT 2120 Accounting II course description, taken online at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM), along with the course syllabus (which I also attached to the email). I then compared both to the UMPI BUS 220 course description in the UMPI academic catalog. At the end of the email I wrote a blurb about how CNM is unique because they have a CPA Post Completion Certificate of Completion program (that is approved by the New Mexico Board of Accountancy), so their Accounting Course sequence is not equivalent to other colleges and universities as their courses have different sequencing and objectives, so one must examine each course syllabus and evaluate it on its merits, rather than the course nomenclature.

So there is hope for you to get those courses re-evaluated, but you might have to do a bit of digging and compose a compelling argument to the faculty in charge of that equivalency. Good luck.
