Technically, the HS diploma should be fine. Pierpont doesn't even require a HS diploma from some students who are of a sufficient age.
Practically, however, you may run into some issues. You shouldn't have problems, and I'm sure thatdfrecore would say that a homeschooling diploma is perfectly valid, but sometimes you might run into people who don't understand this. If you do run into any problems, I would certainly try to get it accepted first but also be ready to just take a GED exam. Again, you shouldn't have to. But be ready for that possibility just in case.
