"Complete a series of for-credit courses in the Google IT Support Professional Certificate performance pathway while maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 (B) or better to be admitted into the degree program."

So, from my understanding, they'll have a new for-credit version of that certificate program.
But it's indeed strange that they don't care about gen ed? usually, you'll need to take some AP calculus, statistics, english writing, history, etc to get accepted into top school's CS program.
