I want to go to a Christian University
#1
I want to find a University that IS a Christian-Affiliated University.
Can you help me find out where I can find the right Christian University, for me:

I hope that Christian Universities can receive more funding. After all: I haven't felt great at hearing about how small the Religions department was at my University.

Do you want to study religion, go to a religious school, or both.

Well there is plenty of "christian" schools in the world. just make they sure they are properly accrediated and not just a "religious entity" like many bogus schools claim to be.

But for real: How about giving us some more information? What are you looking for? What part of the world you wanna study? What subject? Online or brick and mortar?...

Great intro post, but it's missing the most important info on the addendum and template. Are you looking at institutions that are Catholic or Protestant? Maybe another denomination? It's best to provide a bigger picture of all the variables requested: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

William Woods University is a Christian university and has online associate and bachelor's degrees. Tuition isn't bad at $360/ credit for undergraduate degrees.

As a fellow Christian student, I applied at a number of Christian schools before settling on a secular university for low cost and speed. The biggest factor in my decision was the acceptance of 90 credit hours of Sophia credit. If you don't have ACE transfer credit, you have a HUGE number of Christian universities to choose from.

The following universities are transfer friendly but do not offer CBE:

Liberty University, VA;  at least 200 online majors, the only university I know that allows you to stack discounts.

University of the Cumberlands, KY; no discounts but $220 an hour for a well accredited degree is awesome.

Grand Canyon University, AZ; now a nonprofit, they offer discounts but be prepared to negotiate.

Indiana Weslyan, IN; in practice they won't accept more than 75 credit hours of ACE credit, but up to 90 regionally accredited.

Transfer Friendly Christian Universities for non ACE credit:

Westminster University, UT; but not mormon.

Cornerstone, MI;  CBE SOAR program

Amberton University is a Christian university but religion is not incorporated into most classes.

Charleston Southern University is a Christian university with religion incorporated into every class.

Kairos University, SD, was created by the merger of five Church of CHRIST colleges. I believe their degrees are CBE and very reasonably priced. Regionally accredited.

I forgot to mention Columbia Southern in AL. Normally, I would hesitate to recommend a for-profit school but the feedback on this forum has been generally positive. They recently obtained regional accreditation.

A number of supremely affordable, nationally accredited religious schools have been mentioned on this forum. If national accreditation meets your needs, you can save a significant amount of money. ABHE and TRACS are good places to start.
