Has anyone looked into the program? I know that degree info had one post about it. You can transfer in up to 90 credits or 75% of the degree. It's $2400 per 4 month term and is completed on a phone app. I've decided to approach the program and will document my progress if I truly enroll after my transfer credit is evaluated. Unfortunately they do not take transfer credit from study.com. I am unsure about other alternative credit providers.

Here's the thread, I mentioned their Masters degrees are going to be affordable if you can transfer the max credits:

I made an account so I could reply to this post and hopefully hear from others pursuing this degree option
I completed the orientation lessons and so far so good. The app is very clean and works well. It’s a mixture of multiple choice questions and 250 word text responses from what I’ve encountered. .
I’m waiting to hear back on transfer results (I have a BA & MS from a RA school as well as some Sophia courses). I will let you know what I end up starting with and I’m interested to see how your time in the program goes!

I figured out it's not exactly all I thought. I was told to date the most courses completed in one term has been 4 courses. I was thinking this was more so competency based like WGU but not so much.

Well that’s disappointing to hear and I’ll be sure to report back if that is my experience. My evaluation came back with 54/120 credits transferred in and I start May 1. I’ll let you know how long it takes to get a class done, seems like their fastest person was doing a class a month if that’s what they told you.

Are you not going to try and max out that transfer credit before you continue with the classes? Would they allow you to take classes elsewhere or are you locked in now? Can you defer the classes until you get up to 90 credits for transfer?

I could take the time to get to the 90 credit limit but I’m not overly concerned with it. One of my transcripts took a minute to come in and just got reviewed so I’ll actually be starting with 66/120 completed.
Thankfully I am fortunate enough to work at a place with an employee education program so if I can’t get this done in 4 months via my remaining GI Bill I will be able to utilize my employer.
I start Thursday and will update here how the first class goes in terms of difficulty and speed and overall functionality of the app that the degree is through.

Basically, investigate further... I would just take a class or two with them, these classes should be ones that are not easily available for transfer... Did they indicate why Study.com isn't accepted? Do they not take ACE or NCCRS credits? If you can't do ACE/NCCRS, have you asked about CLEP and other alternative credit options available for you?

For anyone following this thread, I started on May 1 (last Thursday) and as of this morning (Wednesday) I have completed two classes.
The course is laid out with videos, podcasts, and readings followed by quizzes after each. The end of each lesson is a written assignment (like a short paragraph or two). There are 7 lessons for each class.
So far I’m really enjoying the coursework. I have been chewing through quizzes as quickly as I can and reviewing material if I don’t pass the quiz the first time. I broke down the credits remaining and the lessons required and if I do a lesson a day from here on out I’ll finish within a term (4 months).
I’ll update here periodically if anyone is following and can answer any questions as best as I can. So far, so good!
