This school is weird. The link to the program brochure doesn't work. The name of the school is yuck. International American University sounds like a fake school. The address is an office. It's not a campus. There's a spa, restaurants, traffic school, and other things in the building. They accept PayPal payments which is really strange for a college. The website is a WordPress website and the theme is listed on the bottom of the page. That just doesn't seem professional. They seem to really be going after international students. There's a graphic that says:
54 countries, 42 professors, 98% of F-1 students, and 100% like family
Their graduation rates are abysmal. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TBlf...a-16c/edit#
I think I figured out why it's so weird! When it began in 2000, it was a business consulting company. On the faculty page it says as of June 2020 there are 30 professors. So is it 42 or 30? In 2020 they had 609 students of which 580 were foreign students. No one has graduated from the DM program yet. The DBA program has had 312 graduates. There's been 1383 bachelor's degrees awarded which isn't many since they became IAU in 2006 and they only have 1 bachelor's degree. The mission state goes into their Christian faith based philosophy. They do not accept financial aid. They have articulation agreements with a few colleges:
Advanced College, South Gate, CA
Lincoln University College, Malaysia
Veritas International University, Santa Ana, CA
Western Covenant University, Los Angeles, CA
William Woods University, Fulton, MO
Yuin University, Compton, CA
This has been fascinating to read. It's such an odd place.
