Hmm... Wow, that's an interesting option... its not a DBA or something that's common, it's in Public Safety! Thanks for sharing!

Very interesting. The admission requirement is a "Master's degree from an institutionally accredited university in a related field." Institutionally accredited sounds like ENEB could potentially qualify if they're flexible enough on the related field part and open to Validential. If not, I wonder if the Masstercursos Cybersecurity master's could get it done? Hmmm.
MGSU has a DScIT program that is also 54 credits, requiring a relevant master's and 2 years of related work experience. https://www.mga.edu/graduate-admissions/...nology.php ENEB's Big Data and Business Intelligence is tangentially a related subject that could speculatively qualify.
Assuming there aren't additional fees hidden somewhere, the total tuition cost of either doctorate comes to $14,598. And Middle Georgia State is RA on top of it! If you can get in without a master's that costs more than the doctorate, both become extremely tempting.
I emailed the main contact of each degree a copy of my ENEB transcripts (MBA and BD/BI) and asked if they would be deemed adequate for entry into the program. I'll update the thread if I receive a response. UPDATE: Dr. Hall (in charge of the DSPS program) responded in less than an hour saying he would discuss my transcripts with admissions and get back to me ASAP.

@Kalas, you can always inquire about that with their admissions or academic advising to see if anything can be done. I wonder what they mean by "Institutionally accredited" - does that mean NA, NA-faith based, foreign equivalents, and RA?

In looking at the program it appears to be a standard Doctorate in Criminal Justice, but with a different name.
For someone who isn't a police officer, it might get very tedious very quickly.
Bigger question is...
Are classes synchronous or asynchronous?

FYI,
I emailed the program Director a Dr Hall and received a reply in less than 30 minutes. The program is completely asynchronous.

That's great, this one might be the one you're looking for after all is said and done... I would keep this on top of the shortlist of schools you're interested in for now...

Indeed.
As of now tuition for online students makes no distinction between masters credits and doctoral credits. It also makes no distinction between Georgia residents and non residents. Furthermore, the program is completely online... Something which Rich Douglas may find distressing.
On the plus side it means that this RA doctorate degree out the door looks be 3 or 4K CHEAPER than my masters.
I'm applying and will hope for the best.
Cohorts are limited to 15 students per term.
