I want to be clear that we aren't chasing to find the outlier and then once we find it use the outlier as a basis to give generalized advice while completely ignoring any logic of math that would be the result of the alternative.
To say that getting approval for ACE/NCCR courses and having them place those courses into your degree plan is a far worse outcome than guessing on your own doesn't add up.
As dfrecore said, they are usually wrong. Advisors from EC and COSC are sometimes wrong but we don't tell people to avoid them. The ones at UMPI haven't been wrong yet. TESU is the only one that we advise people to avoid as much as possible.
