I want to be clear that we aren't chasing to find the outlier and then once we find it use the outlier as a basis to give generalized advice while completely ignoring any logic of math that would be the result of the alternative.
To say that getting approval for ACE/NCCR courses and having them place those courses into your degree plan is a far worse outcome than guessing on your own doesn't add up.
Examples of Outiliers:
Police make errors/or on purpose kill unarmed people, therefore we should avoid police at all times and never call the police when we are in trouble.
Pilots kill people because of pilot errors or on purpose, therefore we should never fly on a plane.
Doctors kill people because of errors or on purpose, therefore we should never go to the doctor.
Internet companies get hacked and people's personal information is stolen, therefore we should never use Internet services that require us to give out personal information.
My guess you what you are saying is that if you find the EXACT right trustworthy person, taking the EXACT right degree, at the EXACT right time and assuming they are skilled at knowing how to search for information, then they are better off. However I don't see why you don't search for information first, then confirm things.
