When I left a comment on the in class thread about working ahead or supplementing my studies they responded basically implying that it was bad habits and bad for learning. I guess they just assume everyone is an inexperienced freshman with no background knowledge/experience.
I think that's a bit silly. More and more students are entering university having at least dabbled with computers in the past. Sigh. More time to complete XAMK courses, I suppose.
